FTII to start short-term film courses in Guwahati

The Film and Television Institute of India-Pune to start short-term courses on Cinematography, Scripting and Acting in Guwahati , Assam. According to the reports, the Film and Media Production Classes will commence in Guwahati from next month.

According to an official release, FTII Chairman Mr. Gajendra Chauhan today met Assam Chief Minister Sarbananda Sonowal regarding a discussion about the course.

“This has been done as a part of FTIIs initiative to reach out the aspiring students, who want to build career in acting and other allied vocations,” Mr. Gajendra Chauhan to a statement with Press Trust of India, New Delhi.

The courses will be held in 20 days and it is expecting to commence from October 10 this year.
