About FTII Entrance Exam 2017-18

The FTII entrance exam is 3 hour exam which is conducted at selected centers in India.The main objective of conducting these exams is to determine the candidates creative skills,general awareness and the subject field of interest. In addition to it candiadtes clearing the entrance exam have to go through an audition round for the selection process.

Feature Film Screenplay Writing                 :              Bachelors Degree in Any Discipline

 

Admission Procedure

Students will be shortlisted for orientation/ interview/ Audition round on the basis of their performance in the written test. Candidates will be selected for admission on the basis of written examination and workshop & interview session organized at campus. Candidates have to clear these rounds for admissions. Written tests will be organized at Ahmedabad,Agartala,Allahbad,Bhopal,Bangalore,Bhubaneshwar,Chennai,Chandigarh,Dehradun,Guwahati,GangtokHyderabad,Jaipur,Imphal,Jammu,Lucknow,Kolkata,Mumbai,Patna,New Delhi,Pune,Ranchi,Raipur,Thiruvanantpuram.

Questions Pattern

Film and Television Institute of India Entrance Examinations are basically conducted to test the candidate on the specific area that he or she has chosen. More over, in the Film and Television Institute of India Entrance Examinations, their will be question from General Knowledge and General Mental Ability.The FTII exam will be conducted through pen and paper based mode at different centers across the country. The exam duration will be total three hours. This examination will analyze the student’s creative skills, logical thinking, general awareness and other subject related topics. The question paper will contain maximum 100 marks.

Exam Center, application Form and Fees

The FTII Admission Form will be provided via online mode. Candidates can apply for this exam via online through the website. Candidates have to fill all details in the application form carefully. The application fee will be Rs. 3500/- (for general & OBC) and Rs. 1000/- (for reserved categories). The fee payment will be done through online mode.

Admit Card

Successfully registered candidates can download the FTII Hall Ticket 2017 through the website. At the examination center, candidates are required to carry printout of the admit card along with one original photo identity proof. Candidates can carry any one of the following ID proofs like Voter Card, Driving License, Aadhar card, PAN Card, etc.
